Dave - I had a great trip down the St John River in Maine last month in my SRT, immediately after the ice went out. Most days in fact we paddled past walls of ice left from the ice jams on the river. My paddling partner Chris Gill got a few nice photos that give a sense of the trip – I’ve attached one of them. The SRT was a perfect boat for the trip running dry in up to class III with cold weather gear and a week’s groceries on board. I added a Wenonah foot brace after buying it this winter. Best regards - Russ Ford

These cargo boats were collected by an ancestor of Harold's in his great grandfather lineage, Captain Daniel Bray of the Continental Army, for the river crossing and battle of Trenton in 1776 commanded by General George Washington, which is considered a historical pivotal point in the American Revolution.
